Mountain of Muses

Sisukord:Toome Hill is the heart of Tartu. As you walk up the hill from behind the Town Hall, you pass a gate of time. Toome Hill tells us about an ancient stronghold, a medieval town, a fortress and an academic centre of a university – each of those periods has left a mark. Today Toome Hill hosts the University Museum, whose unique architectural ensemble and precious collections offer a lot to discover. The muses who live here help to hold special phenomenon called the Spirit of Tartu.
