Cultural Bridge Over the Baltic Sea

Sisukord:Ülevaade Balti riikide kultuurilise koostöö projektist nähtuna 16 osaleva tudengi silme läbi. The Baltic Sea is a leading region of growth and innovation but also a culturally important area. In order to widen the understanding of our common European cultural scene, we need to increase the direct contact of it's people, to cross the existing boundaries and promote communication and collaboration activities. The Baltmet Exchange project (2006-2007) has been a successful example of a fruitful cooperation. New ideas, possibilities and working methods have been shared, new contacts and friendships have been formed. This publication describes the cultural profiles of the five partner cities (Tallinn, Helsinki, Vilnius, Riga and Warsaw) mostly trough the eyes of the project's sixteen exchange students. Within these pages, you can find illustrative information and personal perspectives on issues varying from the cities' cultural structures to everyday life in the hosting environments.
