Oil shale fuel combustion
2006
833 lk
Sisukord:This book examines oil shale fuel and its combustion in power plant boilers. Oil shale is widely distributed around the world. The oil shale reserves in the Republic of Estonia are extensive. Estonia is the only country in the world that supplies most of its electricity to domestic customers using oil shale fired power plants; power is also exported to neighboring countries. Oil shale has a complicated composition, but systematic studies and practical implementation can create original design solutions for thermal equipment in power plants. In this volume, long-term theoretical and experimental studies are summarized. A substantial amount of the experimental research cited was performed on industrial full-scale boilers.
